2024 Winter Internships - Heritage Management/Cultural Resource Management
Our internships are aimed primarily at IAFS alumni who want to expend on their archaeological skills, learnt from previous IAFS programs (but we will make exceptions for the right individual). Our internships are based at our archaeological projects in Birr, County Offaly. Our winter program takes place from Jan 4th to Feb 15th 2024 (6 weeks) or Jan 4th to Feb 29th (8 weeks)
Internship tasks focus on site excavation and survey, archaeological and historical research and post-excavation. Students stay with local families in homestay accommodation, guaranteeing an enriching cultural immersion and truly memorable experience.
Fee includes all meals, accommodation, tuition, instruction, equipment and field trips.
Scholarship support is available to IAFS alumni only through our ‘Alumni Scholarship Scheme’, please select on your application.
